Mgsv How to Continue After Mission 40
You can free roam since the start, it won't change later on.
You can even beat the game after beating the game. All main missions are available to continue playing afterwards.
The replaybality of this game is amazing.
You can also replay any mission you want at any time. Although be careful replaying missions that give unique staff. You may end up with clones on the loose.
For unique staff like Malak, The Viscount or anyone else that is a target for elimination when you replay the mission and extract them again they will override the one you currently have in your staff on mother base, the only way to avoid this is to direct contact that staff member I found that with Mosquito when I was replaying mission 22 retake the platform for medal farming.
I should point out I play the game on the PS3 so not sure if there is a difference.

There are multiple ways to get Quiet back. Either you can use mods, or there's a way within the game itself.

Simplest way is just to install Snakebite and then use one of the many "gimme mah nekkid sniper back" mods.
The in game method is to replay mission 11 7 times without killing Quiet each time which can be annoying and become costly after awhile depending on your loadout.

You don't need an expensive loadout for that mission - a bog-standard Renov with Tranq rounds will do just fine. And besides, OP's about to finish with the main story. Surely they're well resourced by now.

Sounds crazy, but I can confirm it's absolutely true. You'll have to knock her out each time - no blowing her head off or squishing her with mortars.

I did it myself on PS3 my theory is that some players probably lacked a few of the resources to make all her equipment or forgot to max her bond thus they missed out some trophies.
